Rheem RTEX-13 is a 99.8% energy efficient unit. This high level of efficiency is reached through its self-modulating heat exchanger. Rheem RTEX-13 has a 5-year primary warranty covering its heating chamber. When it comes to the parts, its warranty is valid for one year, only. Moreover, in order not to jeopardize the warranty, the installation should be done either by a professional or very carefully by you. However, its robust copper immersion heating elements with brass tops promise solidity and durability.
